Since the party's divorce on December 23, 2015, Sophia Bruning, now 11 years old, has  attempted suicide 3 times while in the care of her mother. The attempts, as stated by Sophia, are  the result of no one caring about helping her. She is giving up on anyone involved with Child  Protection Services (CPS), the government, & law enforcement in Michigan (MI) helping her  because they have ignored her cries for help for nine years. Her cries of abuse that have not been  investigated by the Michigan Department of Children and Families (MDHHS) and law  enforcement include her telling psychologists, school counselors, teachers, other students,  parents, judges, etc. etc.,.

Resulting from pressure placed on MDHHS by State representatives and our publicly  viewed videos, CPS has finally sent Mr. Bruning nine years of reports that prove that abuse has  been documented by them since 2015, and the child should have been removed from the  mother’s home years ago. Everything said by us in this letter and the videos are backed by the  MDHHS reports between 2015-2023. If we had not made the issues in this case public, we  would not have heard anything from anyone. No one cares about the safety of children in  Michigan. In fact, Michigan Law Makers have made it clear that they are proud to be one of the  most corrupt Governments with one of the highest instances of Human Trafficking in the United  States (US).

Also, in response to our publicly viewed videos regarding this case, the father learned on  November 29, 2023, that MDHHS has no computer records of this child’s case, which has been  in their office since 2015. The call came from MDHHS Central Dispatch at 5:20 PM from this  number, 855-444-3911. We are willing to offer our paper copies of MDHHS reviews of the  missing case. We can also provide you with audio recordings of conversations with MDHHS  intake, investigators, and supervisors. Causing children and their records to disappear only raises  eyes of suspicion. Is this why Michigan is ranked in the top five states in the US having the most  instances of Child and Human Trafficking? Are the financial returns and job security that  trafficking provides causing Michigan Government bodies to choose not to get involved enough  to save this child and many other children’s lives?

During my recent meeting (6/21/23) with the minor child, Sophia stated that she had told  MDHHS case workers and law enforcement that she experiences daily emotional and physical  abuse inflicted upon her by her mother and stepfather. She has reported that guns and  ammunition are readily available to her at home. MDHHS reported that her stepfather  threatened to kill her and her father with a gun. She also stated that her Stepfather drinks with  Sergeant Scott McKenzie (Alcona County Police), who her Stepfather enlists to threaten her  when she speaks of the abuse, while the MDHHS caseworkers verbally lie, stating that she does  not tell them about what she is going through. The reports from MDHHS reflect the truth that the  child has revealed the abuse to the MDHHS caseworkers since 2015. The Mother’s attorney,  Denise M. Burke and Sgt. McKenzie have both threatened her with going to a Juvenile Detention  Center if she should continue to talk about the abuse she is experiencing. Her psychiatrist stated

that the medication is not helping her as much as it should because her depression is not  physically triggered; it is situational, stemming from the environment that MDHHS, Judge Mack  (now Judge Black), and law enforcement are forcing her to endure.

MDHHS’s improper investigation of child-reported trauma is responsible for approximately  1/3 of MI’s growing number of youth suicides annually. Gun accidents account for much of the  rest of the child deaths in Michigan because of loose gun laws and neglect of children in danger.  Sadly, the youth death rate in MI has been increasing by approximately 25% yearly since 2000.  Could refusals for assistance from those in positions of authority with MDHHS and law  enforcement be contributing to the horrendous increase in gun accidents, youth suicides, and  child trafficking in MI?

Statistics reported by the National Violent Death Reporting System (MVDRS) show that  suicide and firearm accidents are the top reasons for deaths in youth ages 5-11 in MI. Sophia is  now 11 years old with a family history of suicide attempts by her mother while living in a home  with firearms, drugs, and alcoholism. MVDRS also indicates that the number one form of youth  suicide is hanging or suffocation occurring within their homes. A little above 40% of reported  abuse cases ended in suicide per lack of investigation by MDHHS or custody being ruled to the  abuser by a Judge in MI Family Court. In MI, alone, 1-4 youth suicides were performed by  children as young as 5 attempting to report their history of trauma to their local law enforcement,  MDHHS, or Family Court.

On 10/12/23, MDHHS instructed the child in our video to leave school without adult  supervision. Why was a child able to walk off her school campus without a security guard  stopping her? Schools that do not have adept security run the risk of their students being  murdered by individuals with machine guns possibly bought from Sophia’s stepfather (Tony  Escareno, owner of Sunrise Firearms and Tactical Equipment in Alcona County, MI). Or is the  school security guard the same Alcona Police Officer (Scott McKenzie) who threatened the child  with placing her in a Juvenile Institution if she continued to report the abuse and guns that her  stepfather is inflicting on her?

After MDHHS mysteriously helped her to leave her school without supervision, MDHHS  supervisors Arron Rabbage & Mark Jordan then could not tell the father where his child was or  who she was meeting. Then, to wipe out information of this and many other issues in this case,  Sophia’s case was wiped from the MDHHS computer as reported to us by MDHHS intake on  11/29/23. Also, in response to our video, MI citizens are reporting that there are many who have  experienced these same things with MDHHS. These parents report that there were many times  that MDHHS frightened them by causing their child to disappear.

Children who disappear often become enlisted in Child Trafficking. The father thinks  that Mr. Jordan told him off about the tracking device that he has on his daughter’s phone  because it ruined his plan of hiding the child. The Michigan Government offers no assistance  with these cases because it is becoming obvious that they may promote corruption in Michigan  because it keeps bank accounts growing and jobs secure.

The links below are to Parts 1 & 2 of “Corruption in Michigan Family Court.” The  videos talk about why the child is turning to suicide, many of the people involved, and why it is  important to watch everything your local Child Protection Services (CPS) and Law Enforcement  do with your child. Child trafficking is filled with runaways or children who “age” out or run  away from the system with no survival skills. CPS and Law Enforcement all over the world are  helping to fill trafficking rings by neglecting children in danger.

If you can help this child, please contact me, or the father, as soon as possible before Sophia succeeds in committing suicide. And share these videos to help save her life as well as  thousands of other children being ignored by CPS across the globe.

We need your help because a MDHHS investigator recently informed the Father that,  “His child is going to have to disfigured by her abuser or die before they will do anything to  help her.”
